Specialist in orthodontics. 30 years in dental practice, he deals exclusively with orthodontics. He treated several thousand patients. He is active in knowledge communication with his colleagues.

He is the former president of the Orthodontic Association of Serbia, the Dental Section of SLD DLV and a member of the board of the European Federation of Orthodontists.

As an instructor of the Tweed Foundation for research in orthodontics and an invited lecturer, he participated in many educational programs organized not only in Serbia, but also in countries from the near and far surroundings and the United States.

 

The concept of an individual approach in orthodontic treatment

 

The course will include a complete diagnostic procedure with practical work for participants on the creation and analysis of medical documentation that is used in everyday orthodontic practice as a basis for establishing a reliable diagnosis. After establishing the diagnosis, the participants will be specified the procedure of applying the obtained data to define the therapy plan with the application of differential diagnosis methods that indicate whether and when tooth extractions are necessary and, if so, which would be the teeth of choice for extraction depending on the therapy plan. Special attention will be paid to methods of strengthening the abutment by dentition preparation, extraoral forces and mini-implants, as well as the application of class II mechanics in order to achieve optimal occlusal relationships. The program envisages the renewal and supplementing of knowledge in bending orthodontic arches, which, along with the acquisition of the aforementioned skills, would be a necessary step for the next, higher level of this program.
